Originally from the north of France, after having lived in the south of Turkey for ten years, Philippe Harchy was seduced by Montolieu, where he now resides.

Long time illustrator of children’s books, specializing in licensed characters, he participated among others in Disney albums and now devotes himself to his personal creations.

He invites you for improbable journeys in his imaginary worlds, where birds can be more present than men, where boats can be perched in the trees. Often originating on land or water, his line drawings, sometimes colored with egg tempera, take you on a hazardous journey into his dreamlike world.
